2020 Winners event update

COVID-19

The safety and well-being of our guests is our top priority. Therefore, it is with a heavy heart we announce an ideas4ears winners’ event will not be possible in 2020. If the situation allows us to in the future, the new date for the winners’ trip to Innsbruck will be in June 2021. We would like to extend our sincerest thanks to the ideas4ears winners and their families for their continued understanding in these unprecedented times.

We are very proud to be an international competition that hosts children and families from many different countries to bring people together to increase awareness of hearing loss worldwide. We are looking forward to an ideas4ears event in 2021 that will be a wonderful experience for all involved!

Innovation – the basis for cochlear implant progress

Innovation is essential when exploring ways to improve the lives of those with hearing loss and the ideas4earscompetition has raised awareness of the benefits of hearing technology.

Whilst celebrating children’s creativity, ideas4ears aimed to engage parents to participate in an interactive activity with their children to improve the whole family’s understanding of the challenges associated with hearing loss and deafness as well as the benefits of treatment.

If you are worried about the hearing loss of a family member or for your own hearing loss, contact ideas4ears@medel.com to receive a free information package on hearing and the solutions available.
